Apple finally releases a case for the iPhone XR

While the Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have been getting more attention, the iPhone XR is likely to see its own share of success thanks to its lower pricing, with the device starting at Rs 76,900 in India. However, since the launch of the iPhone X, the design has changed radically and we have been expecting a new Smart Battery Case.

Now, in what might arguably represent the latest of Apple's struggles to jump-start new iPhone XS and XR sales, a report published this week by Bloomberg notes that the company reassigned several of its marketing staff from the individual projects they were working on, to focusing exclusively on iPhone marketing. The icon is used to display the charging status of the Smart Battery Case within the battery widget. Until today, the 18W charger was only available in the box with a new iPad Pro.

The Smart Battery Case icon reveals the camera in a vertical orientation, which is different than the previous icon. This new iPhone XR Clear Case costs $39. DxOMark noted that for the key photo attributes of exposure, color, detail, noise, and artifacts, iPhone XR offers an image quality that is quite similar to that of its flagship iPhone XS Max. However, it does not feature a huge chin at the bottom.

"In terms of specifications, the iPhone XR camera features a 12MP size 1/2.55" sensor with 1.4 μm pixels, a 26 mm lens with f/1.8 aperture with optical image stabilization, focus by Phase detection and double-tone LED flash.

This is all for now, folks.
