Hootie & the Blowfish, Barenaked Ladies to play show in MA

"Weird Al" Yankovic will bring his Strings Attached Tour to the fair 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019.

Hootie & the Blowfish are touring the country, and they plan to stop at the Walmart AMP next July, along with their special guests, the pop group Barenaked Ladies.

The band hails from Columbia, South Carolina.

Coming with Hootie and the Blowfish are the Barenaked Ladies.

Lead singer Darius Rucker told the TODAY Show Monday morning they are writing songs for a new album. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Monday, 3 December at 10 a.m. PT until Thursday, 6 December at 10 p.m. PT through Citi's Private Pass program.

Recording artist Hootie and the Blow Fish performs during the New Year's Eve concert entitled "America's Party" on December 31, 2003 at the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The band scored most of its more recognizable hits off 1994's "Cracked Rear View" album.

The South Carolina-based band put out five studio albums and other live albums, never coming close to the popularity of the first, with the last one in 2006.

Tickets for the Phoenix show go on sale to the general public Friday at noon.
