Several renders and promotional images of the upcoming Nokia smartphone have now been leaked online, confirming that the global variant of the Nokia X7 will indeed be marketed as the Nokia 8.1. The Dubai event on December 5 may also see the launch of the much-rumoured Nokia 9 flagship, but as of now it seems the headlining phone will be the Nokia 8.1. With its high quality dual camera photography and AI-accelerated experiences powered by the octa-core chipset, the Nokia 3.1 Plus makes premium photography features available at an accessible price point. Among them, owners or the most neglected Nokia phone, Nokia 8, are the most unhappy ones since all promised updates for that phone are running late.
All of its Android devices belong to the Android One programme, which ensures speedy, monthly updates to the OS directly from Google. It will come with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the smartphone will feature a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 12-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with telephoto lens for zoom and portrait mode. The Nokia 8.1 will reportedly ship with Android 9 Pie pre-installed, which means that people can take advantage of useful features like Adaptive Brightness and Adaptive Battery functionalities. The report on NokiaPowerUser has shared images and marketing material for the Nokia 8.1 and adds that "Expect More" is the punchline for this phone. However, based on the specs, the device is the same as the Nokia X7, which launched in China earlier this month.
