They called Alaina Housely "an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her". "Can you please DM me your information?' According to the friend Ashley, Alaina was the only one out of 'a handful of girls [who] went to line dance tonight", and is now unaccounted for.

"My gut is saying she's inside the bar, dead".

Housley wrote, "Staying positive and praying and hoping and wishing there was more I could do".

The gunman, identified as 28-year-old Ian David Long, opened fire during college night at a Thousand Oaks country music bar, killing 12 and sending hundreds fleeing before apparently taking his own life.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Housley family during this hard time and hope that Alaina is found safe. Two of her friends were able to escape by jumping through a broken window, they are now being treated at the hospital with severe injuries.

He noted that his niece's Apple devices showed the bar's dance floor as her current location.

"This is my firstborn son", Coffman's father, Jason, told an NBC reporter as he waited frantically for news Thursday morning. She knew that her niece was at the bar but hadn't heard from her in hours.

The niece of former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley and his wife, actress Tamera Mowry-Housley, was killed in the California bar shooting on Wednesday, the couple confirmed in a statement.

Housley was last seen wearing denim shorts, "a blue flannel" and sneakers, the suitemate tweeted.

"Ashley this is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley?" the actress wrote. "Please pray. I am numb", she posted.

Adam has since taken to Twitter to ask his followers for prayers for his niece, who he described as "a lovely soul".

A police officer with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, Deputy Ron Helus was one of the victims of the massacre.
