Pictured on the Chinese OnePlus website alongside the Mirror Black and Midnight Black colours, the Thunder Purple is reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S9 in Lilac Purple. You can head over to their website, regardless if you are from the USA or another place, and select the color options and storage of your choice.

For pricing, you can get it in China now for ¥3,399 (around $490) with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

If you were hoping to root or ROM your T-Mobile-bought OnePlus 6T, you can, in fact, unlock the bootloader, you'll just need to pay the phone off early. The OnePlus 6T is also available on Amazon, so you have plenty of options. Huawei certainly takes the charm away with its Mate 20 Pro Twilight Blue, but OnePlus 6T in its new avatar challenges the likes of Huawei's flagship to the T. The OnePlus 6T also comes with a "teardrop' notch, which makes it better-looking than the OnePlus 6, though that's all a matter of taste". The Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T does pop next to those two, quite a bit, and that's the whole point of it. And it looks like folks in China who have had their sights set on the new OnePlus smartphone will have one more color to consider: Thunder Purple.

The OnePlus 6 and 5T were both made available in different variants of red and white, and so far OnePlus hasn't revealed any information about new colours. If the company opts to release this phone internationally, it will become available in both Europe and the USA, in addition to a number of other markets out there, quite possibly in India as well, but we'll see.
