Patriots smother Bills for fifth straight win

Things took an awkward but expected turn on Monday night in Buffalo when several Bills fans, during a home game against the Patriots, chose to lob sex toys onto the field at New Era Field.

The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the team has not disclosed the visit, which took place before the Bills hosted the New England Patriots on Monday night. This stuff has never happened to me.

Buffalo's secondary - in particular, corner Tre'Davious White - will need to play at a high level.

In all, the Bills ran four trick plays on their opening possession. "We just got to show up, turn around, we got a game Sunday, so it's back to the drawing board".

The coverage on the backend by the Buffalo defense was superb for most of the night as Brady's receivers struggled to create separation, especially beyond 20 yards downfield where Brady completed only two passes.

Brady finished 29 of 45 for 324 yards, but was held without a touchdown pass for the first time this season.

The Bills defense is very tough and they have good pass rushers in Jerry Hughes and their old reliable, Kyle Williams, who it seems always plays well against the Patriots.

There's always the chance that Tom Brady and the Patriots find a way to exploit Edmunds, but either way they're dealing with a big, athletic kid in the short-middle areas of the field where they usually like to operate.

AFTER THE game, coach Sean McDermott said Anderson was being evaluated, and offered no speculation, though it wouldn't be stunning if he ends up in concussion protocol. He improved to 29-3 all-time against the Bills, extending his National Football League record for most victories by a quarterback against a single opponent.

McCoy was injured on the second offensive play of the game for the Bills last week when the team lost to the Indianapolis Colts, 37-5.

So while the Bills signed Pryor as a wide receiver, it's not inconceivable that he could play some sort of emergency quarterback role. Jim Kelly had his No. 12 retired in 2001, and Bruce Smith's No. 78 was retired in 2016. "It belongs to the Bills fans everywhere". Pryor is a seventh-year player who was released by the New York Jets on October 20 with an injury settlement after hurting his groin. However, he apparently wasn't supposed to be playing until the second quarter due to tardiness.

The Patriots quarterback has had tremendous success against the Bills going 28-3 in his career.

Michel is out after hurting his left knee in a 38-31 win at Chicago on October 21.
