The OnePlus 6T is Now Available for Purchase

Instead of the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, OnePlus has made a decision to embed the sensor inside the display on the OnePlus 6T, just like some of the recently launched Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi phones. The OnePlus 5T had a Lava Red version while the OnePlus 6 had a more simply-named Red variant. Some kind of catch that explains why the OnePlus 6T is significantly cheaper than much of the competition.

OnePlus 6T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU. And if you have an ICICI Bank or Citibank credit or debit card, you can get instant discount of Rs 2,000, which will bring down the cost of base variant to Rs 34,999 (including Amazon Pay cashback).

The Oneplus 6T comes with a 6.41-inch Display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. While it really sounds cool, note that is is slower when compared to traditional fingerprint sensors. In all likelihood it'll nearly certainly be behind that of the Global (unlocked) version of the phone every time OnePlus has an update.

The other way is to go through T-Mobile, either online or in one of its physical retail locations. And, at a sweet deal.

Smartphones are getting sleeker, more powerful, and, well, smarter.

Also, T-Mobile can unlock your phone and let you use it with other carriers as long as you've been connected to their network for at least 40 consecutive days and you've paid off the remaining balance before the contract ends.

The first bit of evidence for this stems from a now-removed listing of OnePlus devices on an official support page, first caught by Ishan Agarwal. For that functionality, you'll have to purchase it directly from OnePlus. Not even OnePlus can escape that market trend. Indeed, there are features that the OnePlus 6T doesn't have that its competitors do, which could help explain its lower price tag.

It's ideal to watch videos and even though you could hide the notch earlier, I think OnePlus has found a way for users to be able to ignore it.

The OnePlus 6T is on sale now starting at $550 dollars for a 128-gigabyte model.
