Lowe's is kicking off an entire month of Black Friday deals

The retailer will officially start its Black Friday sale online at 12:01 a.m. CST on November 19 and in-stores at 5 p.m. on November 22.

Target has made a decision to get ahead of holiday ad leaks and roll out its Black Friday strategy three weeks early. Kohl's shares have rallied 80.5% over the last 12 months, outpacing the S&P 500 index, which is up 6.2% for the period.

Richfield-based Best Buy has not yet announced its Black Friday promotions or store hours.

According to the company, order pickup will be available for most items on Thanksgiving and Black Friday along with Drive Up service. Online doorbuster deals begin at 1:01 AM ET Thursday, November 22 (10:01 PM PT Wednesday, November 21).

November is here-as are early deals from Walmart to kick off the holiday shopping season.

Minneapolis based retailer Target is announcing their plans for the holiday shopping season.

The retailer has started its Black Friday sale early, as of November 1.

And Lowe's isn't the only retailer to switch up its approach to the holiday season. Amazon will also highlight a wide assortments of budget-friendly Black Friday TV deals as well as video game titles, gaming system bundles, notebooks, tablets, wearables and among others. Amazon Prime members will be able to enjoy the free two-day shipping without minimum threshold.

For years, the promotional buzz surrounding Black Friday - the day after Thanksgiving shopping event devised by retailers decades ago as a ceremonial kickoff to the holiday shopping season - has inched back earlier in the calendar.
