The best responses to Piers Morgan dad-shaming Daniel Craig

Many people, including Captain America actor Chris Evans, criticised Morgan for his comments, while some fathers responded by posting pictures of them carrying their own children.

It was a well earned punishment for Morgan's latest dumb tweet, which earned scorn from Woke Dads everywhere.

The presenter had previously sparked a heated debate about fathers who use the sling-like carriers after Daniel Craig was pictured wearing one.

For his part, Morgan - who replied to numerous barbs aimed at him - held his ground, saying he has no issue with men taking care of their kids; rather, he's got a problem with the concept of a baby carrier. "Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside", tweeted the actor.

The post was retweeted 24,000 times within three hours.

Morgan's anger garnered quite a reaction on social media, as he often tends to do. Tying masculinity to carrying a child in a less comfortable, less secure, less convenient fashion is absolutely bonkers. "There's nothing more manly than being involved with and caring for your child".

"It's really good for babies". He wrote that he looks ridiculous but "that's what you do for your kids".

And it's not just Copeland who embraces the reality that masculinity is malleable and not limited to some restrictive set of criteria.

"Everyone else seems to be getting very worked up about them".

It's 2018. Gender is a construct, and people aren't here for regressive ideas about how men and women should act.

Many were offended by Piers' comments and were confused as to why it was emasculating for Daniel Craig to carry his child.
