We know there won't be a Pixel Watch or a third phone.

Google is also likely to roll out several other gadgets, including new version of its "smart" Home speaker, a rumored tablet with a detachable keyboard and an update to its Chromecast streaming device, based on media leaks.

The tweet is an overt reference to the theory Google has been running a Skunk Works, black-ops style operation all summer to hide its real Google Pixel 3 by leaking a number of fake handsets, the handsets that are leading to those much-publicised first reviews. The new Pixel is expected to have a similar "notch" design to the iPhone XS and a new sand colour. Official details will of course be revealed at the Google Pixel 3 launch event later today. In terms of storage, both models will come in 64GB and 128GB variants without the possibility of expanding the storage. In terms of specifications, Google Pixel 2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and 12.3-megapixel camera. Further, the handsets are rumoured to come preloaded with a "Top Shot" feature that is found to "capture the ideal shot every time". Plus, the Pixel 3 family is expected to have an Active Edge feature that was sported on the Pixel 2 models past year. The battery capacity is said to be 2,915 mAh, up from 2,700 mAh of Pixel 2. Besides, the Pixel 3 will measure 145.6x68.2x7.9mm and weighs 148 grams, whereas the Pixel 3 XL will measure 157.9x76.7x7.9mm and weight 184 grams.
