US First Lady Melania Trump wrapped up her visit to Kenya on Saturday morning after spending two nights in Nairobi, the longest stay in one country during her maiden solo tour of four African countries.

The first lady was similarly immersed in the moment earlier at Nairobi National Park, where she had gone early Friday to highlight elephant conservation.

Yesterday, Melania caused a stir on social media, after she was spotted wearing a hat while taking a game drive through Nairobi National Park in Kenya.

But it was her attire which drew concern on Twitter, as she donned a white pith hat, with her riding pants and boots.

The US First Lady landed in Kenya on Thursday night and was received by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi County.

Melania Trump was also asked about any role she has advising her husband and the contrast between her words and actions and those of the president.

Her stepsons have also been criticised for their passion for hunting.

Melania Trump, who is in Africa to promote her children´s welfare programme, began her trip in Ghana, where she visited mothers and their newborns, and toured a former slave trading fort. Things done by most tourists and dignitaries visiting the national parks.

First Lady Melania Trump is now on her maiden solo visit to Africa.

"Posting on Twitter in view of his 53,600 followers, he penned: "⁦@FLOTUS [Melania Trump]⁩ tells reporters in Egypt she wishes people would focus on what she does, not what she wears". "It's a lovely thing to see", he tweeted.

First lady Melania Trump weighed in publicly for the first time on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh since sexual assault allegations were made against him, saying he is "highly qualified". She dismissed reports about alleged derogatory comments reportedly made by President Donald Trump about African countries and said the issue had not come up on her visit.
