OnePlus 6T to be Amazon exclusive in India

The end of the ad reveals that the phone will be an Amazon exclusive in India, just as other OnePlus phones have been for several years. Thus, this picture also seems to confirm that the OnePlus 6T will actually be the first smartphone of the brand with a built-in fingerprint reader under the display. Oppo and Vivo launched a couple of smartphones each in China and India with waterdrop notch, so OnePlus will join the list with the OnePlus 6T. The smartphone, going by the history of "T" line up of handsets, should come as an update over the OnePlus 6 instead of being a completely new smartphone. Unfortunately for the pre-existing leak, the two phones' camera modules line up exactly.

As per the information, we have gathered so far, OnePlus 6T will have a new design language at least on the front. On the other hand, the rest of the phone does not, suggesting that the second device is taller than the 6. It will be interesting to see which special edition 6T OnePlus will be launching.

Rumors so far have suggested that the OnePlus 6T would be nearly identical to the recently released Oppo R17 Pro, which means that the former will borrow the triple camera setup on the back. In addition, a comparison with the OnePlus 6 shows that the position of the power button has been slightly changed and the new model appears to have slightly changed overall proportions, indicating a grown display.

Inside, it is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core, Android Oreo OS (later upgradable to Android Pie) and in multiple RAM + storage configuration-6GB RAM+64GB storage, 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. Additionally, OnePlus 6T will also boast face unlock capability, but it is not sure if it will be on par with the Apple iPhone X (review).

Thus, the screen will actually grow to 6.41 inches, with the resolution of the built-OLED display should be at 2340×1080 pixels.
