Two months after proposal, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin get married

Interestingly enough, The Cut published an interview with Baldwin that very same afternoon, in which the model discussed her nuptials, saying that she wanted a wooded wedding with "lights strung everywhere". (Bieber isn't American, but always been renting a series of homes around Los Angeles, so close enough.) The U.S. Census Bureau reports that in 2017, the average age at first marriage for women was 27.4 years.

A source told ET at the time that while Bieber and Baldwin did register for a marriage license, they were only getting a license and did not have a marriage ceremony.

"Relationships at this age are already complicated", she told E!

A religious source shared with the publication that "they were legally married at the courthouse, but are going to have a religious celebration with family and friends soon".

"I just picture lights strung everywhere", Baldwin said of the wedding.

"I don't think it's affected me really". So at least Hailey Baldwin's age means that she's clear of the riskiest age group. And maybe Justin's little sister as a flower girl.

Adding that she can't wait to be Mrs Bieber, "I see no reason to wait", she said of her own decision.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Bieber and Baldwin's reps for comment. The baby singer had made it official on his Instagram handle with an adorable caption, which read, "Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you!"

Who knows, maybe the pair have decided the time is right, or there could be a totally different explanation for their courthouse visit.

Bieber was then linked to several other women before reuniting with Gomez once again after she broke up with The Weeknd at the end of 2017.
