Paul Pogba has stressed that he remains under contract with Manchester United and can do nothing to stop the intense speculation regarding his future.

The 2018 World Cup victor has been the subject of ongoing transfer speculation, with Barca among the clubs linked with his signature.

Pogba, who was a world-record signing when he returned to Manchester United for €105 million in 2016, seems to have had his head turned by Barcelona's intention to sign him.

"I like Mourinho. He has a good personality but not for United - they should have [Pep] Guardiola as coach", the Frenchman told the Mail on Sunday.

'We have goals in common, we want to win, that's all that matters.

Pogba's journey to world glory has made him a hero in France, and the 25-year-old says it has changed him.

"It's just that I think Guardiola should be at United".

John Terry has questioned whether former boss Jose Mourinho has the strong leaders he needs to succeed at Manchester United.

Cantona, who was known for his flair and flamboyance during his playing days, added that he would never play defensively if asked to take over United one day.

I give it my all for United always. They know where I am. But the way they play?

"The manager has them playing the wrong way for the fans. No fun, no creativity".

Speaking earlier this week, Pogba said: "We have a pure coach-player relationship, that's right".

"He should be there, but he is doing magic with that other club".

The buck does not stop with the manager anymore - Mourinho admitted that himself at the start of the season when, unhappy that the club failed to secure all of his summer targets, he claimed: "I'm now a coach, not a manager". "No matter which coach I always give everything for United - I cannot say more". They know where I am.

When you have Rashford, Martial, Lukaku, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Sanchez and now Fred eligible to play for your side, then having 30-40 percent possession certainly does not suit their style of play.
