Mac Miller's Mom Posts Sentimental Photo Remembering Her Son

Miller, 26, died of a suspected drug overdose.

Singer Ariana Grande took to Instagram on Saturday to share a photo of rapper Mac Miller, who died Friday.

When he spoke with Rolling Stone earlier in the year, Mac said that he would never call himself a drug addict.

Grande was reportedly forced to disable comments on her Instagram posts after a stampede of comments from internet trolls flooded her photos, blaming her for the rapper's death at the age of 26.

Yesterday, September 7, 2018, Mac Miller passed away from an apparent drug overdose.

"This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet, Malcolm McCormick", the 25-year-old "Sweetener" singer said with a snap of the pair holding hands.

Ariana addressed the breakup in an Instagram story, writing of Miller: 'I respect and adore [Malcolm] endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form'.

Miller was arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges in Los Angeles in May.

Shortly after they parted ways, Grande responded to a fan on Twitter who criticised her for dumping him and said their relationship had been "toxic".

She tweeted back: "I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be". "Pete is doing all he can to shield her from any poison and negativity".

"I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out and that any other woman in this position does as well".

As it was previously reported, Miller and his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Grande, broke up in May after dating for two years. "Ariana is very upset". "It's a awful situation, it's bad enough that Ariana is suffering the trauma of losing somebody she cared deeply about, but then to be blamed for his death is just despicable, it's such a low blow and totally unwarranted", the source continued.
