Motorola, the company that made the first mobile phone and widely known for its Razr phone, has set a new low by copying the design of iPhone X. Motorola has taken it upon itself to spread the notch to new users, so naturally the P30 has various proximity and brightness sensors in the front, as well as a 12 MP selfie camera. Dubbed the Moto P30, the smartphone comes with a design that seems to have been "inspired" by the iPhone X. The Moto P30 is not the only new smartphone that went official today. As there is a notch at the top of the display, it has an aspect ratio of 19:9.
The P30 will be available from 15 September, and it will start at only 2,100 yuan (converts to about $300 or £240), depending on whether you get it with 64GB or 128GB of storage. But many smartphones stick very closely to Apple's design. It comes in two memory configurations - 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
Those dual cameras are 16- and 5-megapixel f1.8 rear sensors with background defocus (portrait) mode. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. 3000mAh battery is fitted in the phone, and, thankfully, it has a 3.5mm audio jack. After giving us the Moto Z with some attractive modules that went on to A. Prove Google wrong (by showing modularity is possible and can do wonders for phones) B. win a couple of Red Dot Design Awards in the process too, Motorola's latest phone, the P30 is an absolute plummet from grace for Motorola. On the other hand, if you are someone who loves to capture selfies often and wants a smartphone that offers impressive battery life, the OPPO F9 is more ideal.
