PlayStation has cleared the 500-million-systems-sold mark and then some: Sony's worldwide console sales are sitting at just over 525 million. (The PlayStation logo also appear in copper on the system.) On the plate is your console's specific limited edition serial number on it, so you know which of the 50,000 units it is. To celebrate this milestone, the company is launching a translucent blue PlayStation 4 Pro, with a lineup of matching accessories to go along with it. It has a 2TB hard drive and will be available from select retailers across Europe from the 24th August at an RRP of €499.
The console will be available worldwide at retail starting August 24.
Sony also confirmed it will flog the 500 Million Limited Edition DualShock 4 separately for $64.99, as well as a matching Gold Wireless Headset featuring a translucent design for $99.99.
