Kelvin Benjamin & Cam Newton get into it before preseason tilt

Prior to Thursday night's preseason game between Newton's Carolina Panthers and Benjamin's Buffalo Bills, Cam went over to speak with Benjamin.

On Thursday, Cam Newton got the chance to confront Kelvin about his comments, but the Buffalo Bills WR chose to dismiss him and just walk away from the conversation. Benjamin answered questions about the exchange by saying he was "moving on", although when asked what Newton said to him, Benjamin responded, "I don't know".

In the video below, it shows Newton going to shake Kelvin Benjamin's hand and Benjamin refusing.

"I just think Carolina was bad for me", Benjamin told The Athletic.

When it became clear Benjamin wasn't over their squabbling, Newton ushered away a Bills player for privacy, but Benjamin walked away from the conversation. Nothing to see here, just a few position battles.

After Benjamin's comments were published, McDermott expressed disapproval, saying Sunday (via ESPN), "There's a time and a place - I'm not saying specific to what comments were made - there's a time and place for things like that".

Just watch the pair in action as Benjamin, who continued his beef with Cam Newton just before this game started, shreds his coverage.

It's apparent that Benjamin harbors much more frustration from the situation than Newton. "I should've never went to Carolina".
