Meghan Markle spent her royal birthday this year with Prince Harry, attending his best friend's wedding in Surrey, England.

The designer opened up about the experience of dressing the duchess: "I think Meghan chose me for reasons other than just a lovely dress - plenty of people can do that".

Last month Mr Markle provocatively claimed that Princess Diana would have "loathed" the way he was being treated by the Royal Family.

According to former royal butler Paul Burrell, however, Lady Di would have actually advised the star to "freeze" out her outspoken dad following her wedding to Harry, 33.

Diana was the "People's Princess", and died in a vehicle crash in 1997. "I have no doubt she would have told Meghan to do the same", he told Closer.

The Queen reportedly expects each member of her family to visit her at the retreat before she returns to London in October, and activities at Balmoral are expected to include summer fare like barbecues, picnics, parties and outdoor walks.

Another expert, Grant Harrold, who specializes in etiquette, said that Meghan and Harry will, both, be too busy with their royal duties. He also staged a photo shoot for himself in order to revamp his image.

She told the broadcaster: "Life is about cashing in".

'I don't wear foundation unless I'm filming, so this is what I put on everyday after moisturizer to give my skin a dewy glow, ' she said.

It's thought that Meghan has "politely turned down" the opportunity to appear at the prestigious 70th Annual Emmy Awards ceremony-and the chance to bid a final farewell to her acting career.
