Following Sunday's Community Shield defeat to Manchester City, Sarri said that Courtois could be sold if he wanted to leave the club.

Real Madrid have until the end of August to do their transfer business, but Chelsea may become more hard to buy from when the window for Premier League clubs to make signings closes on 9th August.

Eden Hazard is due to return to training with Chelsea today as speculation persists that the Belgian could be on his way to Real Madrid this summer.

"The future of Hazard, Willian (below) and the rest of the players defend on the club, not just me", continues Sarri.

Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri is set for crunch talks with Thibaut Courtois on Monday after the Belgium goalkeeper's agent claimed he wants to join Real Madrid.

The transfer window for incoming players to Premier League clubs closes this Thursday, but Luiz is adamant the Blues have enough quality even if Courtois and Hazard go.

Since arriving at Chelsea in 2015, the 31-year-old has made 131 appearances for the club, helping his side clinch the Premier League in 2017 as well as the FA Cup last term. "Everybody loves them and I hope they can stay". "We can all see their ability and what a great manager they have, but we are Chelsea and we have to believe". "He knows what I want, I know that he tries to do the best for me and I still have a few days to wait [and see] what is going to happen. I think he will be a very useful player for us". Chelsea, on the other hand, have reportedly been reluctant to part ways with their star players, including the Belgian global, as they look to return to the top of English football.

However, with Conte now gone and replaced by Maurizio Sarri, Willian is looking ahead to a sixth season as a Chelsea player.
