Portillo's is celebrating National Hot Dog Week in a major way.

No matter how you enjoy your hot dog, today is the flawless day to do it. For the fifth year in a row, mustard tops the list.

You'll have to settle for hot dog's cousin - corn dog - at Sonic, but, hey, for 99 cents you can't complain. This deal is for new app users and dine-in only, while supplies last.

Starting Monday - through Sunday, July 22 - customers can purchase two regular-sized hot dogs for just $5 at all locations nationwide.

The Chicago History Museum announced Monday that the festival, where visitors can sample dogs, drinks and local bands, will run from August 10-12 at the corner of Stockton and LaSalle Drive. Access the barcode on Love's Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages from 12:01 11:59 p.m. on July 18 and present it to redeem a hot dog or roller grill item. Over at Philly Pretzel Factory, the first 100 customers get a free pretzel dog.
