Meghan Markle seems to have actually gotten that in her husband, a real prince named Harry, and he came through to defend her honor on Wednesday from. a 3-year-old.

Harry said his grandmother has since spoken of the fantastic welcome she received.

Mouret was among the designers tipped to make the royal wedding dress, but Meghan eventually selected Givenchy.

The Duchess of Sussex, who will travel to Dublin Tuesday evening with Prince Harry, paired the dark navy dress with a matching fascinator by Stephen Jones, gold-and-diamond Cartier earrings, and, like her sister-in-law, nude pumps.

Woops! Meghan Markle forgot to take the plastic off the bottom of her purse when she touched down in Ireland on July 11.

The Queen and other members of the Royal family are attending a day of events including a Buckingham Palace flypast as the Royal Air Force celebrates its centenary year.

Over on the accessories front, Meghan traded in her protocol-breaking £475 Strathberry midi tote for a £1,390 satin Givenchy clutch (yes, eagle-eyed fans will recognise the number from her Royal Ascot debut).

"I was like, 'Hold the wisps [of her hair] back-it's a Royal Wedding for God's sake'".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as they are formally known, visited President Michael D. Higgins at his official residence as part of their two-day tour of Dublin.

Over the course of the trip, Their Royal Highnesses will meet the people of Dublin and will visit organisations which are central to Irish life.

They then watched young Gaelic footballers and hurlers play traditional Irish sports at Croke Park, where Deputy Prime Minister Simon Coveney helped explain the rules.
