Real Madrid and Juventus are close to agreeing a deal for Cristiano Ronaldo - but there's a stumbling block in the way of any announcement, according to reports.

And the 40-year-old has jokingly admitted that Ronaldo's double in the 2017 Champions League final hurt more than him never having the opportunity to play with the Portugal global.

Buffon, who made more than 600 appearances for the Turin side, has stated that he would not be surprised if the Portuguese makes his way to Italy, and thinks it would be good for the Bianconeri's fans.
