UFC 226 Post-Fight Press Conference Live Stream

"Every person I fight is bigger than me", Cormier said this week in Las Vegas. After Cormier knocked out Miocic to become the second UFC fighter to hold two world titles simultaneously, "DC" became the guy.

In a sport where size definitely, matters, it's hard not to wonder whether there's any real way that Cormier is going to be able to overcome his size disadvantage when he steps into the octagon against Miocic on Saturday night in the main event at UFC 226. But when they stepped on the scales Friday morning, Cormier (246 pounds) actually outweighed Miocic (242 1/2).

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar wants to make a trip back to the Octagon.

"I'm coming for you mother fucker, said the WWE Champion".

"I was a heavyweight for a long time, and I left the division", Cormier said.

This time around the story is that Holloway has been experiencing concussion-like symptoms and it comes after he opted out due to a leg injury in a scheduled title defense against Frankie Edgar at UFC 222.

Regardless of his accomplishments, former champion Jon Jones has fired back recently at the notion that Cormier would be put into the category as the best ever after failing to beat him on two separate occasions. So as great as Anderson Silva was, he tested positive I think two times.

One thing Cormier said did seem to catch Miocic's attention. Lesnar must be in the pool again for six months before he is allowed to compete again with UFC, so if he has indeed re-entered that testing pool again, his return to UFC is most certainly on.

He'll have to face a remarkable fighter in Cormier, who was a heavyweight amateur wrestler before his late-starting MMA career.

As expected, Lesnar will challenge Cormier for the heavyweight belt, though a date and location aren't determined. Ngannou, who landed a paltry 11 strikes over three rounds, was thought to be the UFC's next heavyweight force before Miocic dominated him in January. Both fighters were covered in Felder's blood by the final bell.

As is always the case with UFC, there are plenty of ways to watch the fight this weekend, though many of these are costly.

Former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis also submitted Michael Chiesa in the second round with a triangle armbar from a bottom position.
