This contradicts reports that the Galaxy S10 will be unveiled first. The smartwatch, which will probably be called Galaxy Watch, is based on Wear OS and packs a 470mAh battery, a panel level package (PLP) chip, as well as a new UX interaction and blood pressure measurement system. Samsung is also among the major brands that should release a foldable device in 2019, with rumors about the Galaxy X smartphone making the rounds since April 2018.
The Galaxy X launch has been postponed for a few years, but it looks like it will finally be hitting the market next year.

South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics Co Ltd estimated on Friday earnings grew at the slowest pace in more than a year in the second quarter, as analysts said weak smartphone sales likely offset record high chip earnings.
Those rumors were given a lot more credence not long after when Evan Blass reported that Samsung was internally testing Gear devices with Wear OS on board.
We would expect Samsung to use the upcoming new Qualcomm Wear chipset that has yet to be officially announced, but it may use the older chipset instead if the watch is revealed before the new chip's announcement.
