Rapper XXXTentacion dead after being shot in Florida


XXXTentacion spoke about his legacy and predicted his own death during an eerie Instagram Live session months before he was shot and killed on Monday, June 18.

As of Monday night, the Broward County Sheriff's Office had not identifiedtwo men wanted in the death of the musician, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, the office said in a statement.

According to investigators, XXXTentacion was leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Fla.at around 4 p.m. Deerfield Beach is about 40 miles north of Miami. He was transported to an area hospital and died shortly thereafter.

Requests for confirmation regarding Onfrony's status have not yet been returned by XXXTentacion's reps or the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

XXXTentacion had a history of run-ins with the law, first spending time in youth detention in 2014 for gun possession before being imprisoned in 2016 for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. He faced charges of aggravated battery of his pregnant girlfriend, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering.
