YouTube's new music streaming service will not only feature official songs, albums and playlists but it will also come with YouTube vast catalog of remixes, live performances, covers, music videos- all organised and personalised. It's all a little confusing, especially since Google already maintains a subscription music streaming service called Google Play Music, so we're here to offer some clarity on what's happening.
San Francisco: YouTube is rolling out a new service "YouTube Music" on May 22 to separate the music and film components on the Google-owned video-sharing platform.

YouTube Music's personalized home screen dynamically adapts to provide recommendations based on people's listening history, where they are and what they're doing. YouTube Premium will continue to be an ad-free experience, background play, and downloads across the millions of videos on YouTube. YouTube says they're going to be launching more YouTube Original series which include "comedies, dramas, reality series and action adventure shows" soon. In the near future, it will launch in Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
