E3 2018: Star Fox and Starlink Crossover Announced at Ubisoft E3 Event


While it initially presented itself as a somewhat generic spaceship combat sim, the neat twist is that you can attach model spaceships to your controller. While this is a console based exclusive, it's good to see Nintendo getting involved in third party outing, showing they truly have learned from past experience.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas will be released on October 16th, 2018.

Star Fox in Starlink! Miyomoto was then gifted the first prototype Arwing from Starlink, both as a special treat and a commitment to Ubisoft's relationship with Nintendo. The trailer revealed most of the main cast, some new toys that will be coming out for the game, and some new exciting gameplay.

Ubisoft Toronto has announced the release date for its toys-to-life game, Starlink: Battle for Atlas. The Arwings will be a physical starship that you can play with in the game.

Pilots, hulls, wings and weapons can be mixed and matched to build the player's custom starship with unprecedented level of customization and creativity.

Lead a group of heroic interstellar pilots who use modular starships to mix and match their unique gear and skills on the fly. With Ubisoft partnering with Nintendo for games, it was able to get Star Fox himself added to the fray, which is fantastic.
