Ubisoft showed off more of Beyond Good & Evil 2 during its Electronic Entertainment Expo event today in Los Angeles. It's not a massively multiplayer online game like many assumed. Ubisoft wowed fans when it debuted Beyond Good and Evil 2 during last year's show, and this year, it arrived at E3 with a fantastic new cinematic trailer.
At the end of the trailer, Ubisoft re-introduced Jade - the main character of the original Beyond Good and Evil game. In Beyond Good & Evil 2, you are your own space pirate captain and you are free to choose your own path in this vast open universe. We also got to learn about new characters including a Chief Cook named Paige and Callum your Chief Engineer. Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the spiritual successor to the cult classic, a prequel that will transport players into a profoundly multicultural world, capturing the spirit of the original with grandiose decors and intense dramas that play out across a vast universe. This new initiative to pull in organic content has appropriately been given the name The Space Monkey Project.
