Just Cause 4 is promising to be much better than its predecessor, and Square Enix highlighted some of the new game's improvements during its E3 2018 showcase.

PlatinumGames upcoming title "Babylon's Fall" was announced with a brief teaser trailer during the conference.

Babylon's Fall is set to release in 2019 on PS4 and Steam. We got a glimpse at the story in Dragon Quest XI and the kinds of battles and skirmishes we can expect from the latest entry in the storied series. The Quiet Man is a weird pitch but a new IP, which I will always approve of. It's clear that Square Enix is bringing everything together for a big finale with Kingdom Hearts 3. The stealthy gameplay from Shadow of the Tomb Raider was interesting, but lacked impact after the cinematic trailer that was shown yesterday.

The video talks us through the new additions to Just Cause 4, the most prominent of these being the extreme weather system.

Annoyingly arrogantly presentation aside, this does showcase Square Enix's nearly schizophrenically varied output of upcoming games. The December 8 release date does seem to suggest a very optimistic view of its chances though.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age got a new trailer and a release date: September 4. Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are joining up to make two groups of nerds incredibly happy.

We're also really looking forward to playing the free prequel to Life Is Strange 2, called The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit - which will be released on June 26.

Kingdom Hearts 3 debuted back at E3 2013, and fans have waited five years to learn when they can their hands on the game.
