I'm not sure if that's what Namco was envisioning when they brought the Greater Multiverse of Manga to a team brawler, but it was certainly my kind of wish fulfillment. One that immediately made me jump for joy was the trailer for Jump Force, a Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece crossover fighting brawl with one special shinigami thrown in.

Not likely. Nakajima stated that the game will draw primarily from the Weekly Shonen Jump franchises, but only heroes with "superpowers". It takes the fighting-game style that has become their signature and combines it with some of the biggest names in anime.

If you are ready to jump on the anime gaming train, then it looks like Microsoft has your back. But that's just scratching the surface since Jump Force has access to a massive amount of characters, some of which will be making their first-ever video game appearance. So far, characters that are confirmed to be in the game are Goku, Frieza, Naruto, Sasuke, Luffy, and Zoro. Already, this is quite the party for Shonen Jump alumni. Now, in Jump Force-or when it arrives in 2019 on multiple platforms-players will have the chance to pit top-tier fighters from across disparate stories against each other in ways that fans could only have dreamed of up to this point.
