‘Star Wars’: Jedi Fallen Order' Coming From Respawn in 2019

This new Star Wars game was announced at last year's E3, but don't expect any further reveals on it until next year.

CEO Vince Zampella was sitting in the crowd and got to casually reveal the new title his studio is working on: Star Wars: Jedi-Fallen Order.

Players assume the role of a surviving Jedi Padawan in an original story that takes place in the Dark Times when the Jedi are being hunted. You'll be playing as a Jedi and of course, able to wield a lightsaber. EA's acquisition of Respawn was said to be in pursuit of a new Titanfall game, but there haven't been any announcements or leaks about that one yet. We'll just have to wait for additional details before the game releases in Holiday 2019. It also brings up the possibility of an actual Star Wars canon story to go along with it - oh what fun! Co-founder Vince Zampella stopped by EA's E3 presentation to share the name, release time, and a few admittedly vague details of its upcoming title.

Hopefully, Jedi Fallen Order will be a polished experience when it launches next year. When it was first teased back in 2016, all we knew was that it is going to be a third-person action adventure game.
