Irish actor Alan O'Neill, known for his role as Hugh on Sons of Anarchy, has died at age 47.
His body was reportedly discovered by his gilrfriend in the hallway of their Los Angeles apartment on Wednesday night. The site also reports that O'Neill had a "history of heart problems and was a heavy smoker".
He played Hugh, a former IRA member and gun runner, in Kurt Sutter's crime saga.
A cause of death is yet to be revealed, but police have confirmed that there are not any suspicious circumstances surrounding O'Neill's passing. He also played the regular role of Keith McGrath in the drama series "Fair City" - set in the town of Carrigstown - from 2006 to 2012. Following Sons of Anarchy, O'Neill had a minor role in the 2016 film Urge, which starred Pierce Brosnan and Danny Masterson.More news: Hong Kong remembers Tiananmen as US calls for accounting
