With about a month to go before E3 2018, Activision and developer Treyarch held an event to officially reveal Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. "More than 200 million players have called Black Ops home, and they've played for more than 15 billion hours".
"This is an incredible community that has inspired the development team to take their innovative gameplay design to new heights".
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be released by Activision and Treyarch in October for PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can get in on the fun early if you pre-order the game to get signed up for the private beta. There is a Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale mode coming this October.
Our hands-on time with the game exposed us to three different multiplayer modes: Domination, a new one called Control (defend and capture rooms and areas, holding them for as long as you can), and Hardpoint to wrap things up.More news: US treasury secretary to lead trade talks with China
We learn that the map will be the biggest Treyarch has created that includes air, land, and sea vehicles and will be the "deepest and most replayable game they have ever made". Players will be powerful alone, but devastating as a team working together. "With all the features of Battle.net, I think it's going to be pretty awesome what Black Ops 4 is going to have to offer". Multiplayer has been revamped to a whole new level, designed to offer more choice, reward more styles of play and create an even more intensely competitive experience.
"To make this super simple for you, this is a super serious year for us for Black Ops 4 on PC". Firebreak, one of the specialists, has a portable reactor core that deals harm to any enemies near it. As for Zombies, three maps are available at launch and it adds new characters and weapons too. They will also be introducing a new mode known as Blackout. And the standout with announcements was Blackout, which serves as Treyarch's take on the popular Battle Royale mode for the game.
The Battle Royale mode in "Black Ops 4" is called Blackout and it will feature a map that is around 1,500 times larger than Nuketown.
There will be no thrust jumping or wall running, a major shift from other recent futuristic Call of Dutys like Black Ops III and Advanced Warfare, which were disliked among some fans.
Black Ops 4 sounds like it's going to be the biggest title in the franchise ever.
