Although there is no gameplay footage just yet, we will probably get to see the multiplayer in action as we get closer to the update's release. But today during an Inside Xbox livestream, Hello Games' Sean Murray confirmed that the update will usher in a feature many have been baying for since launch: fully-featured cooperative multiplayer. Shelters and complex colonies can be built and shared by all the players as well.
"You can help friends to stay alive, or prey on others to survive." he explained in a blog on the Xbox website. This includes exploring the universe and attacking other teams to epic space battles.
"Multiplayer completely changes the No Man's Sky experience, it's emergent, fun and intense in ways we always wanted it to be". Race exocraft across weird alien terrains, creating race tracks and trails to share online. "This is something that I wish we could've done sooner, but I'm so glad it's happening".More news: Guardiola Extends Man City Deal Till 2021
Something I've learned is that I much prefer making games to talking about them.
