MSNBC's "All in With Chris Hayes" aired footage Thursday night of the Microsoft founder speaking at a Gates Foundation event, telling the crowd about two meetings he had with Trump, one at Trump Tower during the presidential transition and another at the White House a year ago.

In the footage aired Thursday night on MSNBC, Gates noted that when he first met Trump in late 2016, it was "kind of scary" how much Trump seemed to know about his adult daughter Jennifer's appearance.

While speaking at an event at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the tech guru and billionaire philanthropist said that the U.S. president inquired about the difference between HIV and HPV on two separate occasions.

HPV (human papilloma virus) is a sexually-transmitted disease that affects the skins and moist membrane, according to the NHS. He said: "'Trump hears that you don't like what Trump is doing.' And I thought, 'Wow, but you're Trump, '" Gates said, earning laughs from the audience.
