Samsung rumored to be releasing flagships earlier than scheduled

Samsung is known to shake things up with special color options for its high-end smartphones, sometimes offering them exclusively through Best Buy.

Compare that with the £739 or $729 you have to pay for a new Samsung Galaxy S9, and that's quite a difference. Earlier this month, the company began rolling out Oreo update to its flagship device from 2016-Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Samsung is scheduled to showcase its in-display fingerprint sensor in the Galaxy S10, which shall be in direct competition with next Apple's iPhone. However, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star (SM-G885F/DS) is rumored to launch in various global markets as well and not only in China as it happened with various A-series Galaxy handsets that Samsung released in the past.

According to a report from Reuters, Samsung's beginning talks with ZTE and other OEMs to supply its Exynos processors to Android phones other than its own.

The scores also reveal the Galaxy Tab S4 will feature 4GB of RAM and not 6GB RAM like the Galaxy S9 Plus. However, earlier it was only compatible with a few smartphones. As early as November, supplies for the flexible display panels will already be ready for production. This year is no different.

It seems that Samsung may have not been burned badly enough by the Galaxy Note 7 catastrophe in 2016. If true, then it's very likely for the South Korean giant to put the spotlight on its foldable phone during the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which starts in late February. "Their supply timing wouldn't determine our schedules for new launches". The new color option came to India a month after the company announced the Galaxy S9 and S9+.
