Update 0.5.0 has added a new map, with the desert themed Miramar now available to play for mobile users. This is actually the much awaited PUBG Mobile Miramar update which brings the Miramar desert map to the title.

- New Progress Mission: collect progress rewards when you reach new levels, then take on new missions. See if you can find the new vehicles and weapons. - Added weekly Activity missions: earn rewards based on your Activity. Also, you can choose your region and flag along with a language-specific chat channel, lets you chat in the language of your choice. - Initial parachute speed increased to match the PC version. This lets players easily join a party of friends sitting next to them, just by using a quick 6-digit code.
Elsewhere, PUBG Mobile also has a shop doing the rounds, which allows players to fork out for cosmetic goodies and something called 'Secret Stash, ' which dishes out various special items on the cheap.
The 0.5.0 update is packed with improvements as well, such as sound effects added to melee combat and breaking doors, smoother spectator mode and parachute camera, and an improved display of personal information.
