Iran announced its squad for the 2018 World Cup late Sunday, with two midfield stars making the cut despite being banned a year ago for playing against an Israeli team.
Star man Neymar has recently returned to fitness and despite not playing for club side Paris-Saint Germain, the samba star is still expected to play a pivotal role for his country in this summer's tournament.
The Selecao will meet in Brazil before facing Croatia and Austria in friendlies on June 3 and June 10.
"We will be much stronger with Neymar doing well, but for him to do well the rest of the team has to be well, too", he said. "He's one of the three best players in the world, but for him to be at his peak he needs a solid team around him", Tite said.

Fagner is now carrying an injury of his own but has been cleared by Lasmar to play in Russian Federation.
"We can't cry over those who are absent. But Roberto Firmino will fight for that position in top form", Tite said.
All but one of Tite's starting lineup in World Cup qualifiers was confirmed in the squad: Alisson; Miranda, Marquinhos and Marcelo; Casemiro, Paulinho, Renato Augusto and Philippe Coutinho; Neymar and Gabriel Jesus.
"With all due respect to our Russian hosts and friends, and with humility, please bring the trophy home", he said.
Brazil's hugely unpopular president, Michel Temer, tweeted his support after the team announcement.
Their campaign begins against Switzerland on June 17.
