So with these two announcements today, FOX has now renewed a total of 11 shows for the 2018-19 TV season, including "The Gifted", "9-1-1", "The Orville," "Empire", "Star", "The Resident", "Family Guy", "Bob's Burgers", and "The Simpsons".
The show's fate was believed to be tied to the future of Lethal Weapon, which sacked leading man Clayne Crawford following reports of bad behaviour on set. Fox has officially given the Batman prequel a fifth season order. FOX announced that the show would return, but there have been few details released about what season 5 will look like.
Warner Bros. TV has a big Netflix deal for the show according to Deadline, which likely factored into how a deal was worked out for a final season of the series. Tonight, Fox issued a last-minute renewal to the Batman origin story in a way that should be very much epic. Well, fortunately, the series has managed to secure a fifth season pick-up. But here's the rub: This will be the show's final season and will focus on Bruce Wayne's transformation into the caped crusader.More news: MP Board 10th, 12th results 2018 declaring today at this time
