Alongside The Han Solo Season will be the release of a brand new game mode.
Star Wars Battlefront II Season 2 content, which will be available from May 16th, will be focused on Han Solo, with quests and challenges inspired by the character and his closest friends. With that said, it's a good thing there's a new Star Wars movie coming out to provide some of that content.
Season 2 will bring a new mode called "Hero Showdown".

Solo: A Star Wars Story is scheduled for a May 25, 2018 release. Thats up to you, but once a round is won, you must pick another duo for the next round.
"In addition to John Williams' brilliant tune for Han, I got five new themes + many other motifs/riffs joining the Galaxy Far, Far Away in Solo: A Star Wars Story!" he wrote on Facebook.
Menu Updates: Quality of life changes are being made to the front menu which will allow player to hop into game modes a lot quicker.
Starfighter Custom Arcade will give players a chance to brush up their piloting skills against the AI using any and all ships; it's debuting at the start of Season Two on May 16.
