Katy Perry and Taylor Swift put end to their bad blood

"She was about to leave and I said 'Taylor, can I have a hug?' And she said, 'Yeah!"

Aside from a few passive-aggressive tweets, Perry dodged talking about all this for years (Swift never mentioned it again after the Rolling Stone article).

Probably the most notable thing to come from the feud was 2014's "Bad Blood".

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift appear to be on the verge of putting their famous feud to bed. "I knew it meant a lot to Isabella".

"When she was leaving, my daughter asked for a hug and Taylor turned around and said, 'Absolutely - I didn't want to hurt you, '" McCune added.

Swift and Perry became friends in 2009, but had a falling out around 2013 when Perry allegedly stole some of Swift's backup dancers for her own tour. Believe it or not, on the opening night of Taylor Swift's "Reputation Tour", K-Pez shipped a surprise package to the "Bad Blood" star with a personalised note too!

It seems Katy Perry was inspired in more than one after yesterday's heavenly-themed Met Gala because the 33-year-old is seeking redemption and forgiveness from her "enemy" Taylor Swift. "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour", Taylor continued.

August, 2017 - Taylor drops "Look What You Made Me Do", taking aim at everyone who has ever shaded her, including Katy with MULTIPLE references to her in the clip. "And I think she's a fantastic songwriter".

Things between the two artists were quiet for a while, but previous year things heated up again when Perry said she wanted to bury the hatchet with Swift during an episode of Carpool Karaoke. We don't think we're being overdramatic in saying that this reconciliation is more shocking, and will do more for world peace, than the recent talks between North and South Korea.
