Malaga vs Real Madrid: Zidane to drop Ronaldo for LaLiga clash

Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have been left out of the Real Madrid squad for Sunday's Liga clash with Malaga.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is furious with the continuing fallout from his side's Champions League quarter-final victory over Juventus, suggesting that people are annoyed at the club's phenomenal success. There are "antimadridistas" and we can't change that.

The plan has paid dividends as Ronaldo has scored in all 10 of Madrid's European games this season. It's a 50/50. Bayern are better this year, they're competing really well. I'm really disappointed with what's been said.

A win for Madrid will lift them above Valencia into third in the table, while Malaga realistically need a win to have any chance of avoiding relegation.

Jose Manuel Gonzalez Lopez's side have won just four games, and there is little doubt they will be playing in the Segunda Division next season.

Málaga are bottom of the league and maybe they don't deserve to be there. "It's going to be hard, but we're going there to win and they are going to make the most of it".

It'll be more hard after the Champions League match because we made an enormous effort, but we've managed ourselves really well in the last three days and now we're prepared to do well in another LaLiga game. "I've seen them (Malaga) and their position is surprising". Karim Benzema is expected to lead the line.

After a dramatic mid-week in the Champions League can Real Madrid return to winning ways against the bottom of the table Malaga?
