Trump can fire Russian Federation prosecutor Mueller, says White House

President Donald Trump on Friday night announced he has directed the USA military to conduct precision strikes in Syria, after the chemical weapons attack that left dozens dead on Sunday.

Trump has claimed that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's administration has used chemical weapons, and that the USA is considering a response, including military attacks.

President Donald Trump says former FBI Director James Comey is an "untruthful slime ball" who should be prosecuted for leaking classified information.

Vice President Mike Pence will travel to Peru in Trump's stead for the Summit.

Trump says that last Sunday, Syrian President Bashar Assad deployed chemical weapons in what was a "significant escalation in a pattern of chemical weapons use by that very bad regime".

Donald Trump on the White House rose garden Thursday.

Trump has vented many times before at what he sees as the utter injustice of the Mueller probe and at his subordinates, like Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

"A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!" he blasted on Twitter amid news that Federal Bureau of Investigation agents had seized documents pertaining to Trump's dealings.

Trump also expressed confidence in the loyalty displayed by Cohen, his longtime personal and professional fixer, who ascended to one of the most powerful roles at the Trump Organization not filled by a family member.

Following the raid on Trump's longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, he channeled an unprecedented level of anger toward the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice officials, and is reportedly considering firing deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein. Speaking last month after China removed the two-term limit on its presidency, Trump was full of praise for the idea of a leader continuing indefinitely.

The discussions come as Trump's newest national security adviser, John Bolton, stepped into the job this week.
