President's Son Donald Trump Jr. and Wife Vanessa Are Separating, They Announce


Donald Trump Jr.'s wife, Vanessa Trump, officially filed for a divorce Thursday after speculation the two were separating, reports said. The president himself has been divorced twice and is now married to his third wife, first lady Melania Trump.

'Missing seeing Donald and Vanessa, ' one woman commented, though it's unclear if she was referencing the couple's impending divorce or just making a general observation. "I wanted to introduce you to my son Donald Trump Jr.,'" Vanessa Trump told The New York Times in 2006.

"After 12 years of marriage, we have made a decision to go our separate ways", the statement said.

The couple said Thursday they "will always have tremendous respect for each other" and their families. They have five children.

"After 12 years of marriage, we have chose to go our separate ways", the couple were quoted as saying by news site Page Six.

As far as Vanessa Trump's social media pages, the Washington Times reports the last time Vanessa Trump posted on Twitter was March 1 and that had to do with the "downside of being the president's daughter-in-law". A source revealed to Page Six, "Don Jr. has been busy traveling, which has contributed to their problems".

Trump Jr campaigned for Rick Saccone in Pennsylvania this week, as did his father.
