"Thursday afternoon, the Lincoln Police Department received information from the security team at Lincoln Public Schools concerning threats of violence at Northeast High School", Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister said.
An Instagram threat against the high school to be carried out Monday was reported this morning.

As a precaution this week, extra police officers patrolled near Jerome High School. The threat forced buildings in the west metro district to go on lockdown Wednesday.
The 15-year-old boy was charged with disorderly conduct after he posted a threat on social media which was deemed "not credible" by several detectives specializing in internet crimes, Aurora police said.
Early childhood programs, community education classes and all after-school and evening activities also were canceled, the district said. Officials say Hernandez is a student in the city school district, but did not say which school she attends.
Northeast became aware of the threat after other students reported it, and Lincoln police are praising them tonight saying they did the right thing.
