Hazard on Messi, Ronaldo Comparisons: I Need to do More

Antonio Conte urged his Chelsea players "to do something incredible at the Nou Camp" after their 1-1 draw but warned that they would be "crazy" to go toe-to-toe against Barcelona.

Now Chelsea, which won its only European title in 2012, has to find a way to at least score at Barcelona next month to secure passage to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2014.

However, Gerrard was more surprised at the midfield makeup that Conte has chosen.

"After the FA Cup game, it was a bit hard to sleep well, because when you have to play this type of game, you have to prepare everything: the big things, and the details", said Conte, who has been under mounting pressure this season.

In an interview with The Debate, the former Chelsea forward went on to say, "When you are manager of Chelsea, you are always going to be under pressure".

Against Barcelona, he was at his best again, hitting the woodwork twice in the first half before scoring after the interval.

"(But) it has little to do with what will happen tomorrow in reality, the key players change from time to time and from the last game.

This was the night that Willian shone, but Hazard still has the second leg to make it count. And of course they still have Messi. Against Chelsea, Messi has taken 29 shots but none of the shots has found the back of the net. We have to be ready for him.

Will Messi finally score against Chelsea today?

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be banking upon star man Eden Hazard for the total game play with Victor Moses, Cesc Fabregas, Ngolo Kante, Thibaut Courtois and Pedro Rodriguez in support.

"He's been training flat out to be in top shape for some time and we need him".

There was only one error and Barcelona made the most of it, as Andreas Christensen's square pass across the final third was intercepted by Andres Iniesta for a Leo Messi finish. Messi has bagged 27 goals in all competitions this season, and helped set up both goals in Barca's 2-0 win at Eibar in La Liga on the weekend.

This formation will also help them to speed up their counter attack.

"In these days after the game in the FA Cup, I must be honest... it was a bit hard to sleep well", said Conte.
