Bristol Palin and her Medal of Honor husband Dakota Meyer have reportedly split, several news sites have reported, and the breakup includes on social media, too.

The couple tied the knot in June 2016 and have two daughters.

Bristol Palin's husband Dakota Meyer has filed for divorce after just under two years of marriage. The publication reported that the U.S. Marine vet filed paperwork two weeks ago.

Palin had been living separately from Meyer since the Christmas holidays, People said.

The couple broke up the first time in May 2015, two months after they got engaged and five days before they were supposed to get married.

"What matters", he wrote alongside the photo of Palin, daughters Sailor and Atlee and Palin's son, Tripp, from her previous relationship with Levi Johnson.

According to PEOPLE, Meyer filed court documents on February 14 after less than two years of marriage. "We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!"

Dakota and Bristol are also no longer following each other on Instagram, with Dakota blocking Bristol on the photo-sharing platform. "With the love and support of our family, we know we can get through anything", they added.

"Hard work and God's grace are the foundation of our new life together".

Meyer last posted a photo of him and Palin together with the children on Instagram on January 7 with the caption "What matters".
