Diego Simeone has reportedly told Chelsea that he has no intention of becoming their new manager.

Conte's future at Chelsea has been under the scanner since the end of last season and there is widespread speculation that he will be leaving the club in the summer.

Conte's former team-mate Alessandro Costacurta is now the Italian FA's vice-commissioner, and he said this week he intends to go to to speak to the Chelsea manager about a return to the national team job.

But Conte refuted any interest in such overtures, saying:... But maybe it is because this is Chelsea. "This is the only thing I trust, my work, in my work", he said.

"I like this type of situation".

Conte's Blues are now 18 points behind runaway leaders Manchester City and fighting for a top-four finish in order to qualify for the Champions League.

"This season, the situation has always been the same, with a lot of pressure, and I don't understand why, always around me".

When asked which names he was considering to fill the role, Fabbricini said: "The names are the ones you know".

"Me after one year, and then after we won the league because don't forget that last season we won the league as underdogs".

Sarri's spectacular approach has been openly praised by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who called Napoli one of the best teams in Europe.

However, Palmieri is unlikely to be involved in Monday's game at Watford and fellow new signing Olivier Giroud is expected to be among the substitutes.

"We are starting to work with him and we have to check his physical condition". We played together with the national team in the World Cup in 1994. "The situation has been always the same, with a lot of pressure around me".

Conte remains confident in his own ability, however. Of course it was nice to get linked with a club of that stature - particularly as they were the club I used to watch when I was a kid - but I didn't think much more about it.
