On Wednesday he is to travel to Gujarat, Modi's home state, before heading to Mumbai where apart from meeting members of India's tiny Jewish community he will also meet with top business leaders.
Moshe arrived on Tuesday morning from Tel Aviv and landed at the Mumbai airport at around 8.15 am.
During his Israeli visit previous year, PM Modi met Moshe at that time and invited him to come to India. "He wants to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi", said Moshe's grandfather Shimon Rosenberg.
Moshe's parents had moved to Mumbai seven years before the attack to work at the Chabad House.

During his Mumbai tour, Moshe said he would visit the Chabad House and pray there.
